Baked Beans

Ingredients:

6 Strips of Bacon
1 cup chopped onions
2- 16oz cans of pork & beans
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 - 18oz jar "Yam Good sauce"
½ teaspoon lemon pepper

Cooking Instructions:

Lightly cook bacon strips until almost crisp. Drain all but 1 (one) tablespoon of drippings.
Add onions and lemon pepper and lightly cook until tender.
Add other ingredients and mix in until hot. Pour into a 2 qt. shallow baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 1 hour 45 minutes.

Southern Meat Balls

Ingredients:

3/4 lbs. ground beef
½ lbs ground Turkey
½ cup "Yam Good sauce"
1 ½ cups Bread Crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 cup chopped onions
¼ cup celery
¼ cup carrots
1 oz all purpose flour

Cooking Instructions:

Cook and Mix turkey and beef together

Lightly cook onions, celery and carrots in a pan with 2 tablespoons of butter until tender
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients, including "Yam Good sauce", for approximately 5 minutes.
Roll or form meatballs about 1 ½" round.
Brown lightly in 2 tablespoons of butter or vegetable oil.
Remove from pan. Stir 2 tablespoons of flour into pan to make gravy sauce. Add more "Yam Good sauce" and water. After reaching desired thickness, add meat balls to gravy.
Cover and cook 20-30 minutes.

Meatloaf

Ingredients:

1 ½ lbs Ground Turkey
½ lb ground Beef or Pork
1/4 cup of chopped onions
¼ cup chopped celery
½ cup tomato paste
1 ½ cup "Yam Good sauce"
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon lemon pepper
2 eggs
4 oz milk
½ cup dry bread crumbs

Cooking Instructions:

Mix first eight ingredients to a smooth consistency.
Add eggs and milk. Mix well. Mix in bread crumbs
and place in a baking dish. Score top of meat loaf with
a large spoon making 1 ½" wide indentations. Pour
"Yam Good sauce" on and spread over top of meat.

Add ½ cup of boiling water around meat loaf and cook at 350 degrees for 55 minutes uncovered.

To make a crisp top, remove from oven and baste top of meat loaf with "Yam Good sauce". Return to oven and broil top for 2-3 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool 20 minutes before serving.
